Hi I’m Makoi, a Wedding and Elopement photographer based in Saskatoon, SK. Photographer and Founder of Makoi Belen Photo+Video.
Born and raised in the Philippines and now residing in Sk Canada! A happily married father of two boys and twin boys.
I’m a visual storyteller. I set my heart into finding and creating, timeless heirlooms by bringing natural light into play! I want you to be able to look at your wedding photos but rather than seeing it as a photoshoot of a wedding, I want you to feel your wedding. That is authentic and timeless! I occasionally shoot Film, yes old school film! I also shoot different kind of portraits!

Hi, my name is Nic, an artist/filmmaker based in Saskatoon, SK. I have started as a photographer early in my career and decided to switch and focus on films around 2015. I had received my art degree from the UofS last 2017 and a diploma in Digital Marketing in early 2022. In my spare time, I watch Netflix and anime, play video games, or learn cool new things from the internet.
I found my passion in filming weddings when I first started doing it. The emotions from the surroundings let me feel that love is magical and it is truly amazing to witness. When I cover a wedding, all I focus on doing is to tell an unforgettable story through the lens of my camera. Words can't express how fulfilling it is to my soul when I deliver the short film to the couple. I feel that making stunning wedding films is my one true calling.

I love capturing the real stuff, the laughs you want to remember forever. I’m easy going and try to make the photography experience relaxed for everyone!
I grew up in the Philippines and somehow made my way from a tiny town in Manitoba to Vancouver and back to Saskatoon, where I live with my partner Jaden and our four-year-old, Violet.
When I’m not taking photos, I’m probably sewing, out in the garden, or making something with my hands.
I just really love people, connectio’ and turning everyday life into something you can hold onto!
With 7 years of experience in photography and videography, Sunny has transformed a personal hobby into a professional passion. Starting with a love for capturing everyday moments through pictures and videos, Sunny has developed a creative eye for storytelling and detail. From portraits to events, his work focuses on creating timeless visuals that reflect genuine emotions and lasting memories.

TALLYN PAYNE
Hi, I’m Tallyn, a couple, and graduation photographer based in Saskatoon, but originally from Lloydminster. Beyond photography, I am studying biology at the U of S, I love to two-step, window-shop for old trucks, water colour paint, and play the piano.
I found my passion for photography back in grade 10, in my very first photography class. I fell in love with the emotion and story that a single image can hold, how you can look back at a moment and feel everything all over again. Photography means so much to me for so many reasons, but especially because it pauses the very best moments in life. I love helping people feel their most confident and beautiful in front of the camera, and I’m obsessed with the creativity this art form allows.
My style focuses on natural light and storytelling, making every session feel personal and true to the people in front of my lens. And I’m always, always down to try a new creative twist during a shoot.

How long have you been shooting professionally? I started shooting professionally back in 2015. We have shot over 300 Weddings now!
Where are you based? I live in Warman, SK. I operate across Saskatchewan from Waskesiu all the way to Regina, SK. I am available for travel across Canada. Please inquire for pricing.
Do you do both photo and video coverage? Yes! Makoi and the team up to deliver the best results for your Wedding day!
Do I get a Sneak peeks highlight photos after the Wedding? Yes! I usually send out around 100 photos Wedding highlights a week or less after your Wedding!
Do you do SDE (Same Day Edit) for the video? Yes we do! It is now an add on on our photo + video packages. You can watch your Wedding highlights on the same day at the reception!
Do you shoot small Weddings and Elopements? Yes we do! I’ve always love intimate Weddings! Message me to request special pricing for this!
Do you have a 2nd shooter? Yes I do on my highest Package and also an Add On!
Do you have Insurance? You bet! 2 million liability insurance and my gears & equipment are insured too!
What is your turnaround time for the Wedding photos? I put out Wedding previews right after the wedding and I make sure to deliver the photos 4-8 weeks. I do not rush my editing since I am very picky with my colours and I make sure I deliver high quality edited images.
Do you include Wedding albums in your packages? I do not but it is optional in an Ala Carte price.
